I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist focused on helping my patients find true, lasting healing from the impacts of chronic stress, trauma, and adverse experiences. Informed by the latest research in interpersonal neurobiology, I help my patients examine their past, find their footing in the present, and create potential for the future. Conversations from the deep, thought-provoking questions, practical information, somatic work, and big laughs are all found in my office.
The foundation of my work incorporates psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and interpersonal neurobiology. My goal is to help guide patients towards relief and hope, to understand old patterns and create new ones, and to increase mind-body awareness to be able to live more fully. I seek to create relationships with patients built on trust, honesty, and an invitation into awareness. I believe our mind, body, and soul occupy the same space and require integrative treatment to alleviate unwanted symptoms, create long-lasting change, and find reconciliation with ourselves and our experiences.
I have a history of providing treatment in private practice, school-based settings and community clinic settings. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP I) and maintain ongoing education in the latest trauma-informed research and treatment. Prior to becoming an LMFT, I worked in high-tech startups as well as sports physiology.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area and you can usually find me with my family, ukulele, or hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
